When you have started a movie, hover the mouse over your screen and the control panel will appear.

Information about the movie?

Once you have started the movie, hover your mouse over the screen and the control panel will appear. To the right you will find a button "I". Click the button and a box with information about the movie will appear on your screen.


Change the volume?

   1. Start the movie.
   2. Make sure you see the control panel in the bottom of your screen.
   3. Click on the volume symbol to the right and change the volume. You can also choose mute if you want.


How do I jump backwords/jump forward in a movie?

1. Start a movie.
2. Make sure you see the control panel in the bottom of your screen.
3. Press anywhere you like on the "time-bar" and watch the movie from where you like.
   

How do I pause a movie?

1. Start a movie
2. Make sure you see the control panel in the bottom of your screen.
3. To the left you can see the pause button that you can use whenever you like to pause/play the movie.
   

How do I minimize and maximize my screen?

1. Start a movie.
2. Make sure you see the control panel in the bottom of your screen.
3. To the right you will find a symbol "minimize". If you click on it you will minimize your screen. Click on the button again and you will maximize your screen.
   

Foreign films are usually subtitled. In the information about the movie you will find which subtitles there are for that specific movie.

In the settings menu you can also change text size for your subtitles and choose to have a black subtitle background.

This is how you change subtitle:

1. Start the movie.
2. Make sure you see the control panel in the bottom of your screen.
3. Click on the symbol "settings" to the right and a window will show.
4. On the top of the window you can change the subtitles. Next time you start a movie, Voddler remembers your last choice of subtitles.
   

High quality
"High quality" makes your image, subtitles and control panel sharper. You choose "high quality" to make your movie experience better.


Normal quality
"Normal quality", means that the player will use some of your computer's hardware, memory from your graphics card, to lower your CPU, so if you are having problems with your videoperformance e.g. choppy playback, you should choose this setting.


Video Smoothing
For a computer with lower performance, ”Video smoothing” together with ”High quality”, will imply that the computer may gain some better performance.


Note: The difference between the High quality and Normal quality is the image resolution.

• Space: Play/Pause
• S: Settings
• I: Information about the movie
• M: Mute
• Esc: Minimize screen
• F: Fullscreen
• Q: Quit Player
• Arrow up: Volume up
• Arrow down: Volume down
• Arrow right: Jump forward
• Arrow left: Jump backwards
  

Movies won't start or only play for a while before closing down and I find myself back in the library again.

Make sure you meet all the technical requirements. It is important to have enough bandwidth when streaming movies.

1. Check your Internet connection at www.bredbandskollen.se or www.speedtest.net.
2. If you have wireless connection try to connect your computer with a cable to see if this helps. Wireless connection might dip in bandwidth, which can cause interruption in your movie experience.
3. You may also check your firewall/antivirus to make sure that your firewall or antivirus allows Voddler.
   

Why is the commercial buffering?

The commercials and trailers are streamed from an external partner and buffering may occure from the partner. If you experience buffering commercials and trailers, please report this to our support.


Why is the movie buffering?

Playback of films are challenging to your networkaccess, browser and computer. Start by checking if your internet connection is high enough. We recommend a stabil network connection of 3.5 Mbit/s.

The movie was disconnected. How do I fix it?

Make sure you meet all the technical requirements. It is important to have enough bandwidth when streaming movies. See the technical requirements for hardware here.


How to shut down VoddlerNet when travelling

You can manually start and stop VoddlerNet. This is especially important when travelling with your computer.

1. Doubleclick on the VoddlerNet icon
2. Choose Stop.
   

Please note: Voddler uses a lot of bandwidth and might leave you with an unwanted bill from your travels.
