Jack, 24, is finally released from prison where he has spent most of his life. Along with another boy he murdered a child when he was only 10 years old. The film follows Jack's attempt to take up a life that never got a proper start. But his past catches up to him and we learn more about what led to the horrendous acts that have devastated so many lives.
