I Andra Världskrigets slutskede möts amerikanska och japanska styrkor i en sista kraftmätning. Atombomberna har fallit över Hiroshima och Nagasaki – kriget på land är över, men till havs är det långt ifrån avgjort. Ett amerikanskt fartyg närmar sig kusten med en dödlig last: en tredje atombomb med destination Tokyo. En ensam japansk u-båt utrustad med ett topphemligt vapensystem är den enda som kan förhindra en katastrof.

bra fiktion, skönt att slippa den amerikanska patriotismen för en gångs skull,.Inte så mycket action men en bra story och moral i det hela.

A nice told story, but not at all near or in a class of the famous "Das Boot". But it had its points and was entertaining. In all a well made film but it lacks the real thrill, drama and action. Much of this production is made up of animations and they are too obvious, and the story is a bit on the far side for my taste. But it's worth to watch.
I gave this a weak 3 star rating
