The story takes place after one of the original "old time" dirt bike racers has died. While struggling with the heartbreak and lingering grief about the loss of their father, his two sons develop a sense of brotherly love and friendship for each other with the intense competition found riding dirt bikes on the desert dunes out by Lancaster.
