Call It Murder

Midnight is a 1934  film noir directed by Chester Erskine and starring Sidney Fox, O.P. Heggie, Henry Hull, Margaret Wycherly, and Humphrey Bogart. The film was re-released as Call It Murder after Bogart became a movie star. His credit was enlarged to a guest star status although Bogart was eighth in the cast credits in the original release.

I found this one boring. Honestly, this was one of the longest movies to get through for a while. Didn't care for it and it seemed to think a lot higher of its own abilities - as well technically as storytelling wise - than it was able to communicate to this viewer.
