Will Montgomery (Ben Foster), a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant who has returned home from Iraq, is assigned to the ArmyCasualty Notification service. Montgomery is partnered with Captain Tony Stone (Woody Harrelson), to give notice to the families of fallen soldiers. The Sergeant is drawn to Olivia Pitterson (Samantha Morton), to whom he has delivered news of her husbanddeath.

This is a very strong film about human emotions and how bottling up anger and grief can destroy you. Ben Foster's character is a deep, dark and emotional representation of most people, when faced with difficulties and trauma. He executes it with utter brilliance as well as the character portrayed by Woody Harrelson. Samantha Morton and Steve Buscemi are just brilliant in their supporting roles. A film which needs to be seen. Highly Recommended.
