Effectively kills the dream og the peaceful life of the "primitive" peoples that existed before our time. Even though it is complete with an exciting manhunt and film bravery, it gives you a taste of what the horrendous human sacrifice might have been in the old days. It is a society we in Europe know precious little about. The end provides a quality of its own! A great film in its genre!

Selma, the little girl, played wonderfully and with a natural talent for acting without showing it by Claire Bouanich, is just as irritating and trying as a little girl can be (trust me, I have two myself)... One enjoys the whole story, every minute of it, as it unfolds, like as unexpectedly as life itself. It is drama in the smaller scale, but nevertheless just as touching. You never know what will happen - and just that happens.... Simply an emotionally, intelligently and simply wonderfully told story. Couldn't use the 85 minutes better! Nice to watch a good European film. We see to few of them, anyway.
