You have bullets and grenades from enemy players that can kill you anytime in your Warzone matches. So, the last thing you should want to worry about is dying because you got caught in the gas. You’ll need to do everything possible to stay out of it, at least by a few feet.
However, there are times when circumstances force you to stay on the gas. Luckily, that’s not a death sentence since you can still survive it. We’ll be sharing a few tips to help you survive the gas. Also, buy Warzone Hacks to make the game more playable. Check out more helpful tips below.
5 Tips to Survive the Gas in Warzone
-
Prevent the encounter
You’d want to save your precious Self Revive kit and other valuable perks for extremely dire situations. As such, you must do your best to stay out of the gas. A proactive measure you can use is having your minimap visible while playing. Also, we recommend staying close to the middle of the safe zone. But it’s not always safe. So, if you must do that, be very watchful.
-
Have a gas mask and Stim handy
The gas will eventually close in and catch up with you – this is almost inevitable. The commonest way to protect yourself from such scenarios is to have a gas mask in your kit. While you’ll still suffer damage, the gas mask will prolong your survival in the gas by 12 seconds.
The Stim perk also helps you the same way the gas mask does. Activating the Stim while in the gas will place a pause to the damage your character takes. However, you’ll have to find your way out of the gas before the 12 seconds survival window the Stim provides elapses.
-
Use a self-revive kit.
A gamer recently discovered a new trick that can increase your survival chances in this life-threatening gas – a self-revive. It’s unclear if Infinity Ward intended this kit to work in this way too. But for the time being, it is worth exploiting.
Activating the Self Revive while in the gas will temporarily stop you from taking damage. However, you must stay on the ground to prevent the Self Revive from completing. This trick is mostly beneficial if you have an enemy waiting for you to emerge from the gas. Even if you were downed, this can prolong your survival and lure searching enemies to death in the gas.
-
Some armor will do you good.
Most times, you’ll be forced to stay in the gas because of raging gun battles. The major concern is that you’ll suffer damage much faster if enemy bullets hit you in the gas. Therefore, avoid gunfights while you’re in the gas. Only take such chances if you’re sure of a timely exit.
Luckily, having some armor on you will reduce the effect of the bullets. Furthermore, the armor will shield you from some of the harm from the gas. Even when you have some armor on, make sure you have an extra set in your kit.
-
Have a vehicle nearby
We’d advise that you desist from using vehicles while the map is still crawling with players. This is due to the noise they make. However, they’ll come in handy if you get caught up in the gas. They’ll help you to cover a larger distance faster.
When you get caught in the gas, locate a vehicle, hop into it, and drive to safety. Once you’re at a safe distance, discard the vehicle and continue on foot. Since the gas will affect your health, you must use a Self Revive kit before getting into any fights.
Conclusion
It will cost you less to avoid the gas instead of using your pricey perks to pay for damages. Since running into the gas is near unavoidable, save the tips above for such moments. While in the gas, avoid gunfights as much as you can. Bullet hits will increase the rate at which your character takes damage from the gas. While you’ll need gas masks and Stims to buy you some time, ensure a vehicle is nearby so you can drive to safety as soon as possible.
